Miss Macon is an OPEN Miss Georgia and Miss America Preliminary Competition. This means that our competition is OPEN to any eligible young woman who lives, works, or attends school in Georgia.
In addition to the $1250 scholarship the Miss Macon Scholarship Association will award to the 2023 Miss Macon, Wesleyan College has agreed to a 4-year scholarship $16,000 each year. $15,000 for the 1st runner-up for 4 years and $14,000 for the 2nd Runner-up for 4 years!
Miss Program Eligibility Requirements
Age & Education

must be at least 19 years of age as of December 31st, 2023 (the year she would compete at Miss Georgia). To further clarify, the candidate cannot be 18 years old on December 31st, 2023. If the candidate is 18 years old on December 31st, 2023 then she must compete in the Outstanding Teen Program. Candidates must not be older than 26 years of age as of December 31, 2023 (the year of the state competition in which she will compete). To further clarify, the candidate cannot turn 27 years of age at any time during the calendar year she would compete at Miss Georgia (January 1st, 2023 through December 31st, 2023).
Residency
- Must fulfill one of the following:
- Must reside in the state of competition
- Be enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university;
- Or be employed on a full-time basis in the state in which she intends to compete.
Citizenship
- Must be a citizen of the United States of America
Additional Miss Program Requirements
- Candidates must meet all additional requirements pursuant to the Miss America State and Local Application & Agreement:
The competition will be held August 27, 2022 (mandatory rehearsal is August 26) at First Presbyterian Day School(FPD). A reduced room rate for accommodations is available for August 26 and 27.
